LR3 key fobs not working after replacing car battery
Hello I have a 2005 LR3 and recently replaced the car battery. This was an ordeal because Batteries Plus spec'd one that was too large and couldn't get the clamp on it. I had to drive to a different store across town to get one the right size. After replacing the car battery with one the right size my key fobs have stopped working. I have two sets and both won't respond to lock and unlock. I talked to the dealership and they say the issues are unrelated but the timing seems to think something happened with the receiver or programming.
Car runs fine but I have to manually lock and unlock which is really a pain. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same issue-replaced battery,FOB not working
I was surprised to find that no one had responded to this post. I figured that maybe a bump will attract some attention.
The battery in my 2008 LR3 died. I could not jump start it, but was able lock/unlock it in that state. I replaced the battery with a new one (battery was out overnight). When I put in the new battery, I found that the remote fob will not lock/unlock.
I drove the car 12 hours twice since then, so I'm pretty sure that the fob is charged.
I'm not ignoring the corrosion issue, but I'm pretty confident on the cause and effect of replacing the car battery.
Anbody come up with ideas on this?
Thanks!
