I was locked out with a broken key lock and a dead battery Christmas morning. I got around this by crawling under and hooking up jumper cables to a stable ground underneath and shaving some insulation from my positive battery lead and hooking the cable to that. at that point I could enter the vehicle and start it. Hello Xmas Ham. Oh, then replacing the battery lead soon after.

 

Better replace the battery.
Or no ham for you.
