LR4: Rear Hatch Actuator/Latch Replaced - still not working
I have 2011 LR4. The hatch stopped working randomly a couple weeks ago. Swapped out the actuator and latch with new OEM parts from Atlantic British and it's still not working properly. I have the GAP tool, which located the B12EE-15 (2F) fault (found after replacing the parts. I did not check for faults prior to replacing). Cleared the code. Still nothing.
But, when I go into I/O control, BCM, I can trigger the latch and the tailgate to unlock from within the app.
The keyfob does nothing.
The button on the hatch does nothing.
If I unlock the hatch using the app, I can then access the tailgate release button, which works.
Any suggestions / help would be appreciated. It seems this is a common problem will a multitude of failure points and solutions, but I've yet to come across an instance where only the app triggered the lock. Hopefully that's a clue that someone has an answer to.
I'm pretty good at wrenching on this thing, but am clueless when it comes to electrical. I also seem to have a parasitic draw somewhere, which I'm hoping it was the failing actuator. I put a new battery in 2 months ago, and a few weeks later it was dead. So I have to jump the truck if it sits for more than a day or so (Replaced the alternator last year)
