New to LR Disco What should I do
Hi to all,
Just purchased A '94 "DISCO" THIS WEEKEND. It's white, pretty basic, has a couple of quirks to fix and a lot of big plans for the future. I read a post that one of you experts would give me some tips to check B4 I take it off road(this weekend!) Also, the tach gauge doesn't work. And finally(sp?), where can I find accessories such as lift, front bumper with winch, roof cargo rack, etc?
Thanks
Jim

Go by an auto parts store, have them check the alternator, that is the most common reason, other then dirty connections, for the tach to not work.
Don't even plan on get this off the road till you do a complete service, all fluids and a tune up.
If you have never owner a 4wheeler, go with someone who also has a truck.
Do you even now how to shift and use the t/case?
As for places to buy stuff from, Atlantic British, Rover Connection are just a couple.

RE: New to LR Disco What should I do
hi Mike,
Thanks for the tips.
I'm only new to LR, not to off road. I bought my first 4x4 in 1983 and have been in and out of 4x4's ever since. I've been reading the post's since I started shopping for my LR, so I knew some of the stuff to look for and what to avoid.
Thanks for the tips.
