Question Oil Pan Gasket.

Hello All,
I recently Purchased a USED 1999 R.R. 4.0. I discovered it has an oil leak which appears to be coming from the front of the oil pan area. I'm no Mechanic by any means, but assume its just a bad gasket?? I have replaced gaskets before, is this as easy on a RR? Meaning: Darin Oil, drop pan replace gasket, mount pan back, fill engine with oil, and done?...

Yup, pretty much that simple.
Here is a tip, support the truck by its frame and let the front axle hang down as far as it can.

And be sure to clean around and inspect the front crankshaft seal, which is just in front of that oil pan, and can throw oil for some distance when leaking. Both my front seal and pan gasket are on the to-do list.
