Default Oil sensor casting split, TD5

I have a damaged thread, possible crack in the senior switch casting on my TD5 Defender. Is this much of a job to change out the oil cooler? I think it is just turbo out, oil filter housing off, centrifugal filter housing off, then oil cooler. Any drama to anticipate?

IMO the Td5 is the best engine the Defender ever had. The biggest problem, especially on early ones, is the engine wire harness pulling oil and thus causing shorts. I had that problem on my ‘05, and it lead to it sometimes running on only 3 cylinders. If found early it’s an easy fix, if found to late the 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 main harness and the ECU are gone too.
