Default our first landy disco

Hi All

im new to landrovers and have no clue where to start so here goes

first of all i seem to have the lighting sockets at the back of the headlights burnt out, on both lights, this happened rather rapidly when i switched them on

its the black wire on both

any idea

also the rear side light dont work, i checked all bulbs and fine, could this be linked

the motor is a 3.9 v8, during our trip home from where we bought it, (roughly 2hr drive)

the expansion tank used up 2 3rds of the water, i freaked thinking that it was the head gaskets but i noticed a small amount of water on the floor below the rad on r.h.s but after i filled the tank no leak, any thoughts?

gonna book it in to have a once over

what are the tell tail signs of head gasket going?

cheers

minty
