Hey fellas...

My LR mechanic says #6 slipped sleeve. I need a rebuilt engine. '03 disco with about 126k miles, 4.6 LB, 2nd owner. Just wanna confirm that there is no cheap, easy fix for this before I grave-yard the disco. If no easy and economical fix, I don't think I want the hassle of parting out, so I'll unload or donate the Disco. I've got some photos of my beloved disco, but haven't uploaded them yet. I live just north of Boston if anyone is interested.

Worth a shot if you're mechanically inclined. Probably won't have much luck trying to get a mechanic to do it though.
