Hello all,

I have a 1999 Disco 2. My friend left the country with my key fob so I'm left with my door key which won't unlock the steering and I'm stuck in an expensive parking lot.

Looks like I need to take off ignition and use the screwdriver method which looks straightforward thanks to the posts and pix by Arm and Hammer.

I'm wondering will it start with the screwdriver without the key fob present?

If no can I get it started using EKA and screwdriver?

Hey everybody in Rover Land. I used the posts that Arm and Hammer put up to unlock my steering and start my truck with a screwdriver.

I'm a happy guy right now. Was going to the dealership and buy another key but I think I'll go to Target and buy ten screwdrivers instead.
