Suspension Fault Alarms When Headlights Turned On
I have a 2005 LR3 and each time I turn the headlights on there are a number of alarms that light up, the suspension drops, and I am unable to change into 4x4 mode.
As soon as I turn the car and the lights off all the faults clear and the car works fine until I turn the headlights back on. Any ideas?

Easy things you could check (but probably won't fix it unless you get lucky):
Any Fuses blown?
Does it set codes?
Check wiring harness(es) for chaffing/shorts. I think there is headlight wiring behind the bulb/housing is prone to rubbing against the body and causing a short (but that results usually just a blown fuse). Do a search on the LR3 subforum.
Electrical gremlins are the worst kind. At least you can recreate the problem; if/when you take it to a competent Rover mechanic (dealer/indy) you'll want to demo the process in detail to trigger the fault.
Good luck!
Does it have HID lights as factory standard? They need the air suspension to work in order for the HID lights to function correctly? They will throw a code for the lighting system along with the Suspension lights.
