Default Wipers Stopping in Service Position After Motor/Assembly Replacement

I just replaced my wiper motor and assembly linkage in my 2016 LR4. When the wipers are on they rotate to/from the correct location. However, when I turn them off, they always stop in what appears to be the service position in the middle of the windshield. I can't figure out how to get it to reset to to the bottom of the windshield where they should reset. Does anyone know the solve for this? Again, the motor and everything else installed are new parts so I don't think they are the issue (have Google and bad motor switch came up as potential cause).

UPDATE: When I activate service mode with the wipers stopped in what seems to be the service mode position, the wipers move from the middle of the windshield down to the bottom where they should rest normally. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they would ever rotate counter clockwise when entering the service position, but that is what they are doing.

You probably want to say what Rover you're talking about.
And then post your question in the appropriate sub-forum for that model.
