Would not start
HI,i have a S2 Disco td5 2004,i come across a problem the other day, after a load of rain i was coming home and splashing through all the big puddles,i parked up at home. The car was left for about 4 hours, when i went to restart it , it would not start.Turned over but would not kick in.I connected a jump pack and it started straight away.
Normally this disco starts with a flick of the key and never even sounds like it wont start...Any ideas anyone? I have had many Landies over the years both deisel and petrol but have never come across this before, not even after wading a river the the water upto the windscreen(300tdi disco)....
Thanks for any advice..Mike

There have been posts about water getting into the ECU, might be a good place to check and waterproof. These posts all seem to revolve around the issue happening in rainy weather.
From what we see on the news, a lot of rain would be good to hold down the fires, and keep the hooligans inside.... stay safe.
