Hello, I checked with the mechanics near my home and none of them have the scanner with the necessary software to install a new throttle on my lr. As far as I can see, the only place that I could do that work is the LR dealer and it is more than 50 miles from my home, therefore with the limp mode I could not try to take it there. And the estimate of having it towed is expensive. Therefore I had to keep trying to resolve the matter by myself. And here is my update. On the internet i got the diagram of the cables that reach the throttle body, next, i take out the throttle body from the car and check the resistance to the throttle actuator. This passed the test. I could not do, the test with a scan tool that can activate the Throttle Actuator and check the 12 volt to the actuator, because I do not have a scanner with that capacity. But when inspecting the internal disc of the throttle body, I noticed that it was hard and it could not rotate. I know it's not right, but I took a risk and pushed it hard until it spun. Clean it again calmly and install it. The lr2 turned on fine, the check engine light and the limp mode went out and it no longer has codes in the system. I went out for a road run and it is working well. What do you think, should I change the throttle body for a new one, even though the lr is working fine now?

LOL! Good for you! Nicely done. Standard Marine Corps Maintenance response: If it works, don't f*ck with it. If it doesn't work, try a mallet first.
Note that you can buy the interface cable that plugs into a USB port, usually they come with the software. if it doesn't, you can download the JLR SDD software on the web. You just have to look for it. Google is your friend. Pa'lante como el elefante.
Glad you took a second look at it, well done. Keep a well trained eye on it and use the time to familiarize yourself with a permanent solution if the problem reoccurs. I posted a link on a different thread on this site regarding JLRSDD v130 software and a clone Mongoose cable. I'll have a look and post the link here. You can use different versions of the software but I use the virtual one as I have it already setup. If you go that route, your will also need a decent supply charger giving 13.6 volts and 20-30 amps to the battery whenever you use the JLR SDD software. <- This is critical!
