99% of the time I don't need to use 100% of power...But, it bothers me 101% knowing that the car has some electronic issue!

I replaced my fuel pressure sensor with my friend's Volvo aaaaand, nothing changed.

But, the launch scanner read an error: P001D. Now, time to research.

Possible causes:

Camshaft profile control circuit: open circuit
Camshaft profile control circuit: short circuit to ground
Camshaft profile actuator fault

Action:

Check the camshaft profile actuator and circuits. Refer to the electrical guides. Rectify as necessary

I cannot find the location of a camshaft profile actuator but there is a solenoid, located at the top of the engine.

I'm guessing here...

The first owner NEVER drove the car on a highway, just daily driven in an area that's known by it's traffic jams. Probably the first time the car reached 4.000rpm was with me

BMW's VANOS and Honda's VTEC, activated by oil pressure, needed to be used once in a while in order to keep functioning well. I think I need to hit the road and give the LR2 some "hard time"!
But first, I'll check the solenoids, of course.
