Dash gauges, message center, blinker stop working while driving
Just replace it, get the warranty in writing and move on. There's no point whatsoever in trying to blame the dealer for anything, the cluster was clearly already bad in the first place when you took it in.
Agreed. The cost is higher than I would want to pay for a 12 year old car, but it is not the dealer's fault and the car is way out of warranty. The 5 hour quote for the installation and reprogramming was their mistake however. They made it right and I am waiting for the part to arrive from the UK.

I just wanted to close the loop on the wonky instrument cluster. The dealer replaced the cluster with a new part (from the UK) and that fixed the issue. Thanks again P Gill and flybd5 for the help in troubleshooting the issue.
