Yes, every display starts off with a wide vertical scale. You need to adjust the scale to the range that makes sense for whatever you're charting.

After you create the display, press and hold it with your finger and a menu list will appear. Then press "Display configuration" and you can define the min and max values for the scale. For fuel pressure, you might want to chart between 50 - 65.

For the pressure sensor on my 2010 S80 I used a BOSCH part as well.

My 2008 LR2 still has the original sensor. (but as you point out this is a known problem, which is why I already had the part on my shelf)

To eliminate the removal challenge I switched from a Torx screw to a 8 mm hex and a flat washer plus a spring washer.

Pictures can be found here.

The one thing to be aware of is that the ECU can adjust the pressure and it does so everytime you start the engine.

I did a cold start today.

0 PSI before I engaged the starter motor

On initial startup the fuel pressure spiked to 69 PSI

Then it dropped almost instantly 61 PSI

The interesting thing to note is that the RPM dropped to ~800 RPM before the fuel pressure dropped.

It took a few seconds for the pressure to drop to 55 PSI

The RPM drop seems to be attributed to the Throttle position

14.1% --> high idle

3.5% --> low idle

Thanks

The P0193 finally got me yesterday in my LR2.

After 15 years and 136,735 miles the sensor had enough.
(For reference this same sensor failed in my S80 3.2 at 11 years but with similar Mileage.)

Because I have already replaced the sensor on my S80 I knew exactly what needed to be done and it only required about 40 minutes of my time.

I did have the part on the shelf and I was thinking about replacing it proactively but I've been busy so I let it go until it set a check engine light.

For reference the S80 has been running well without a check engine light for 2 years after replacing the sensor (it had the P0193 before I replaced the sensor)

For both of my 3.2's I used a BOSCH 0261230238

I will post here if the sensor fails prematurely. (before 2038.........LOL)

Take care

Paul
