Hi, i found out that while removing the air filter someone used some kind of tape to fix the plastic hose coming from the intake , and i can see more tape on the plastic intake below near the bottom of the engine. Seems like a new plastic hose is needed from the intake and the air filter. Just a new finding! yayyy. I’m so happy , i’m going to have to remove the whole air intake to get down there, i try from below but was almost impossible. A picture !!!!

The ECU is looking for a signal from the MAF and if your intake tube is broken then it might not get the signal it needs.
Try starting with the MAF disconnected.
The ECU will ignore the MAF input if it is completely disconnected.

HI, im back. The intake replaced,the MAF sensor cleaned,Now,everything lights on ,starts and the radio wont work,the dash ,where supposed to be the milleage, now shows transp.And the FOB doesnt unlock the car.
Hi,everyone,intake replaced.It was fun to do it. Radio doesn't work i think the immobilizer kicked in. I never thought that working in the car would be so hard.Or i got rusty.Well i sold all my scanners and half of my tools when i retired.At this point i'm thinking of an engine swap.

I have a WK1 SRT8 that i wanted to sell and some guy offered me an 2011 jaguar XFR ,it was a good looking car,customized supercharged 600hp. And i remember the land rover, and almost got out of the place running.Well any ways. Still not working.,and funny thing,here(PR) don't want to even touch them.
