LR2 evaporator drain hose location
Hello All
I've got a 2008 LR2 that smells like nasty mold when i turn the A/C on. I assume the evaporator isn't draining. I was just doing an oil change and spent the better part of an hour underneath it trying to find the location of the drain tubes with no luck. Can anybody help me with a specific description or diagram? It would be much appreciated.

I don't know, as I have never had to touch one, not had a problem. I would start by changing out your cabin air filter, and there are products that will foam up the air box and remove any mold.
Also, as strange as this sounds, there is a software update for this vehicle to take care of this issue. It may help, but if there is any mold in there, I would suggest having it 'cleaned' along with the software update to prevent future issues.

Hello! I'm having the same issue and can't seem to find any forums about the location of the LR2 a/c drain location. Were you able to have any luck locating? If so, do you mind directing me in where they are so I can get this water drained ? Thanks in advance!

I found the drain hose!
I found the drain hose! Sitting in the passenger seat at your left ankle there is a panel in mine only had one screw in it holding it on. Take the screw out and see A flexible tube that goes down behind the carpet. Pull the carpet back and you’ll see where it connects. Have your hose from your vacuum down in there when you pull that hose off because all the water will come out that has been collecting in the evaporator. Vacuum out both the flex hose and where the hose connects to and you should be good to go.
