R&R fenders/wings - Tip
I just replaced the left hand side wing/fender on my 2008 LR2. When I bought it, it had damage, so I bought another from a salvage yard for under $200 including taxes.
Now, here's the tip. You do NOT need to remove the entire bumper to replace a fender. On the side of the fender you will replace, you only need to remove the headlight and go through the steps to loosen the bumper on that side only (wheel well, two #10 bolts, etc.) Then stop there, because the fender is made of rubber! You can reach and remove the two #30 torx screws that are behind the corner of the bumper by simply flexing the corner to get access to the screws. All the other things you have to remove can be reached without any more R&R.
Had I known this it would have saved me a good two hours (first time doing it).
