Default 250k miles?

How crazy would a guy have to be to consider picking up a really high mileage 06?

Depends on the price. I am at 203,000 miles and I hope to reach 300k or more.

X2

I don't want to jinx it, but my '06 is at about 237k and it runs great. Does it run like my '05 with 132k? No...but I just drive it over the mountains to Yakima, WA and it didn't blink.

What's the price on this 250k Rover?

If it's close enough to go drive, it would certainly be worth it. For $4k if there is not a lot of deferred maintenance, that is a good deal.

Ask if it's had transmission fluid changes. Knew a guy local to me bought one with 375k kms 1 owner truck, dealer maintained for absolutely everything, but never had transmission services and the transmission was fried and needed a new one. Allegedly it had like 60k in service records over 16 years

Drove it home last nights. Three hour drive including hills, country roads, and freeway. Is it perfect from a cosmetic point of view? No. But mechanically it appears to be really good. Will be ordering a Gap tool today as the first step of LR3 ownership.
