Just another small update. My LR3 has a GMRS Midland radio installed. I noticed an issue a while back when it was all setup where I had major audio interference when tuning the radio on or off. Both my aux and midland sound where merged as one into the radio. After a while I realized the issue was the radio uses line-level out. So my amp would freak out. I sorta ignored it but lately I have been doing some other projects (CarPlay install) and have not had the audio line hooked up for months. And oddly not a single cruse fault. I could be wrong, but I think the radio was causing some sorta interference, maybe on ground, and that could have been causing my random faults. I will be ordering a splitter that will take the line-level input from the radio as well as my aux input and combine them into one output but it will kill aux when anyone calls in on the radio. And they said it will take care of the issue from the radio being line-level output.
