Default Air Bag Lift Kit

Hello All you LR3er's!

I'm more of a disco II and now RR L322 guy but have a question for y'all.

What do you guys think of the Suspension module Easy Lift from Land Rover Passion? Here's the link. Easy Lift 4.0

It seems very popular amongst you guys. I see they sell it for the L322(certain years) I want to try it but am wondering a few things.

How is the ride at say +35 on the highway? I would like to run 33s or even 35s and figure I won't be able to lower it to stock height.

How is the stability at the max lift. It goes 70mm but when you use the off-road setting on the vehicle you can get a max of 125mm (about 4.9in)

Are there any issues with the drive line(props) with too much angle? At almost 5in the front drives must be at a big angle.

Thanks

Hobs

I'm not sure how popular it is in the USA. Not many threads on it.

If you have larger tires and need the extra lift for normal driving I think altering the height using the GAP tool is all you need. If you end up buying a LR3 the GAP tool is a must and after adjusting the suspension with it you most likely will not see the advantages of the Easy Lift.

I have Llams which is the original electronic lifter made here in Aus, i have at times driven at 100kph at offroad height on fast dirt roads and found the vehicle to be extremely stable.
I wouldn't be taking any fast turns but on long straight runs it was great, only running 265/65/18's so cant comment on larger rubber.

At that price you're only $100 off the price of a GAP tool.

Do yourself and just get one instead. You can lift or lower the ride height up to 33mm with the GAP. And with the Bluetooth version you can save different height profiles and change on the fly.

Plus the additional features and abilities of the GAP are worth way more than $100. Hell, 1 key reprogramming and you're in the black

I bought the GAP tool first then a llams kit came up for sale for $200 and now i wouldn't be without it. Lining up and hitching a trailer is a simple task between the camera and lifter.

I have a ILand tool from Atlantic British. Can I do the same thing with it? I don't see anyway to set the suspension in it.

I had a quick look at the functions and doesn't look like it can adjust suspension height, if you read the manual it might mention it.

Not really. There are exactly three threads on this forum about Easy Lift, this being one of them...... Guess you will buy it and let us know how it goes. I am sure it will work fine anyway, it is one option among many.
