The MIL light will also come on for faulty O2 sensors or connectors. but seems more like air leak

I was thinking this as well, not a fan of metal gaskets like this. I checked all of my vacuum and air hoses, couplers, and o-rings/gaskets last night, and the TB gasket was the only thing I could think of causing it. I’ll try adding some sealant tonight. Thanks!

Where are you at in Georgia I have a GAP tool if you need to dig a little past the standard OBD II
Thanks for the offer! I don’t think I’ll need the GAP tool for this issue, but I do plan on purchasing one soon. I just bought the LR about a month ago, and even with the CEL on, it’s running way better than when I got it. It has a few issues that were neglected by the PO that I’m working through right now, but overall it’s solid. I’m in Canton BTW.

Pulled the throttle body gasket and applied a thin layer of red rtv gasket sealant to both sides as suggested. So far, I’m over 200 miles in, and it’s running smooth with no CEL. Thanks for the help!
