Default 2005 LR3 65000 Miles.

Well after arguing With the Land Rover Capital Group and the land rover dealer this was truly a waste of time.

this Lr3 has been at the dealer for A/C problems prior even with 4 recurring cases of A/C trouble they don't care...Before the 50,000 miles hey i got Coffee and donuts hell even a loaner car to use until repairs were completed.
But once you hit the 50,000 mile mark you are DONE!!! honey moon is over.

*NOTE* THIS IS BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND I AM OVER THE 50,000 MILE MARK!!

First of all Land Rover Capital (AKA Land rover customer care/ Land Rover Financial) wont even talk to you until you tow the car to the dealer. And then they will charge you a fee for diagnostics for witch we already know what the problem is.

Tow - $120.00
Fee- 99.00 (Diag)
Repairs - $1350.00

this is the final bill from the range rover dealer.
1 replace Compressor
2 new belt
3 charge the A/C system
and last 1 year warranty for the compressor.

*GET EXTENDED WARRANTY* IF YOU CAN FIND ONE. . . . .

Elite+ 36 months/45,0000 miles/$200 deductable (Expires Nov 2012 or 90,900 miles)
Paid $2149

Hope you get a better deal.

completely normal.

Once you are out you are out. Very very rarely do they help people now a days cause its expensive and the manufacturer wont don't anything. In this day and time don't expect any manufacturer to help you when the warrantee is out and something goes wrong.
