Default future values of LR3s and 4s?

Seems like a very nice LR3 can be had for $9 or 10 grand. I know these things are quirky but you get a nice safe truck for that. Will the values of these, that remain in good shape, bottom out at some point, or did we do that already?

To me it seems like they are holding their value well above that of the D2 at this point in their age cycle.

In my opinion it will also depend on the success of the Defender. If it is accepted by the off-road community and is fairly inexpensive to get into, the values of these LR3s and LR4s will probably flat line but if the Defender is lame...the LR3 and LR4 (especially the 3) will be the last of the really great off-roaders.

I'm predicting the Defender helps the LRs: The Defender will make a boxy SUV more fashionable, and the LR delivers that in a fraction of the price. I've looked at a lot of LRs, and there aren't that many around that are really nice and well cared for. Of course, that's true with any older car. I have a 2010 Landcruiser still looks and drives amazing.
