We should have a late night "Follow the leader" up Ortega Hwy, then an afternoon trip over to Cleghorn.

I've only done a couple trails @ Cleghoern using the 3, (First tower & first off camber hill climb on right weeks after installing coils.

I know this is an old thread - thought I'd share my issue and solution

Had the HDC Fault, and suspension Lowered intermittently. Took me a few weeks, realized only happened with headlights on. With headlights on brake switch would be engaged, meaning I could shift through the gears without pushing on the brake and brake lights were on. Figured it was a brake light switch - easy to swap. Didn't make a difference.

Also checked battery voltage, 14.2 when on - alternator working fine. Though battery only 12.2 at rest, figured 6 year old battery should be replaced. I got a H7 AGM, made no difference.

I had some water ingress from front left corner of windshield. This was fixed with windshield gasket repair ($7 from amazon), I checked with windshield shop and Safelite, $500 and $550 respectively to replace windshield. No one would simply take it out and reseal it, both wanted to use new windshields. Given that the carpet was wet I thought the grounds were damaged (approx 3-4 in drivers side footwell). The grounds were clean.

The fix was both upper brake lights bulbs were faulty, meaning they wouldn't get any brighter when brake on. Only one filament was working. One bulb was philips and the other Hella. I know they recommend OEM bulbs, but in reality any 21/5 bulb is fine - they are available on amazon. Save yourself a trip to the stealership.
