Default HELP - Transmission Fluid Leak!

Hey all,

I have a 2007 LR3 HSE that’s currently leaking transmission fluid. I just noticed it and have been doing some research on the most common leak points, but I wanted to get some input before taking it into a shop. I cant tell if it's leaking from exactly where you can see it dropping, or if its coming from above.

From what I’ve seen, possible sources could be:
• Transmission pan or pan gasket
• Mechatronic sleeve (adapter seal)
• Front pump or torque converter seal
• Cooler lines

If anyone has experience with this or can help point me in the right direction based on typical failure points, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

That's engine oil. It's either the figure 8 seal or your front timing cover that is leaking.

Atlantic British is cheaper for the OEM gasket. I know because I just ordered another one. Pretty sure my front crank seal is the issue, in my case, but bought another gasket because I think the one I used was aftermarket when I did this. So mine may be leaking again.
