Default Issues with engine and red park break light flashing

Just bought a used 2005 Land Rover LR3 V6 144k super excited but I have been having some issues. When I turn the car on there’s is a check engine light on and both amber and red park brake on. The amber light turns off after I turn it off and on again, but the red light flashes the whole time. I had someone scan it and i received the code P0732 he said the check engine light could be on because it’s needs an oil change or there’s something wrong with the transmission but the car seems fine driving it around. The only issue is that when I come to a complete stop and then continue driving it sometimes takes a while for the car to start moving again. I haven’t been driving it around since I’m not sure if it’s safe to drive like this. There is a park brake fault message that appears on the dash bird but like I said when I turn it if and on again it disappears. I’ve been reading other forums that it could be a sensor, break switch, or the actuator which I hope it isn’t since I’ve read it is expensive to replace. If someone could please help me figure this out I would really appreciate it. I’m not good with cars but if it’s something simple to fix I’d like to do it myself.

The code you indicate is transmission and could be it just needs an oil change. There should be codes with the other faults as well. I have a faulty O2 sensor that throws up engine faults occasionally. Park brake light can be many things including the globes in the tail lights also it may have got water in the centre console. A duff battery will give similar problems along with a dodgy earth.
You need all codes read to fault find

Update: I had the oil changed that did nothing, they ended up just replacing the o2 sensor and a thermostat. They scanned it there were about 14 codes. I haven’t checked the issue with the park break warning yet but I’ll probably check it out on the weekend when I rest. One of the guys at the auto repair said the engine light may come back while driving since it does still get stuck and thinks it’s the transmission, but another guy thinks it’s just the breaks. But i did notice that when you drive over speed of 30 it says suspension fault.

Update: The engine light turned back on but today I noticed that the coolant lid was off so I put it back on and now the engine light is off. Could that be the reason the engine light turned back on??? And now my coolant level is low so I was wondering what type of coolant i should use for my 2005 Land Rover lr3 v6?

You need the red coolant - that's what we use in Oz

Thank you for your reply I really appreciate it is there a specific brand you prefer using? At the autozone where I live they told me that the Preston’s 50/50 would work and the peak European vehicles 50/50 I bought the peak but I’m not sure what color it is.

just make sure the bottle says 'Dexcool' and the coolant isn't green. Zerex is usually the go to brand
