Ok so I was changing out my gear selector linkage out today on my LR3 thinking it'd be a 15 minute job, boy was I wrong. I ended up shearing the retaining nut off the gear selector linkage arm that's connected to the actual upper transmission pan. I'm planning on using JB weld to hold my new shifter linkage onto the arm, does anyone out there have a better solution and think it'd work? Thanks.
UPDATE! I added the jb weld I think its a gonna hold My shifter shifts now like its in melted butter.
