So... are you rebuilding it? Some of us would sincerely appreciate a write up and pics of what you're doing. Detailed inner engine guidance is rare for the V6.
So my solution was to put in a 2008 Ford Ranger engine (Cologne 4.0 V6), complete instructions and hints at https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...ild-kit-93456/ . Some will understand, others will just spring the $14K for "official" Land Rover parts, they are all exactly the same except for the commutator ring on the flywheel, the engine mount holes on the drivers side (NAS Ford), the intake manifold, the oil dipstick assembly, the OHV covers and the oil filter mounting plate adapter and sump. The rest all just bolts on and mine started first crack. Easier than fixing the oil cooler on a 2006 Nissan X-Trail (unfixable according to Nissan)...
EDIT: Changed 1988 to 2008 and Spec to Ford
