Hello!
I wanted to get some feedback on a check engine light. I reciently bought a 2006 LR3 with 142k miles from a private party, replacing my 6 week old LR3 that was deemed a total loss 2 weeks ago by the ins co. :-(
Everything runs fine, he kept up with maintenance and has records. He replaced many things etc. I am new to LR3s and have just been reading/researching before purchase on these forums.
I had planned on getting the 150k service done at next oil change in 3k milles. Should I take it in sooner?
Any input would be great.
James

You should get at the very least a cheap OBD scanner or have the codes read by an auto parts store so we know what problem code the light is indicating. Or spring now for the holy grail of diagnostic tools, the GAP Diagnostics IID tool. It will pay for itself many times over so don't be put off by the price.
