Default Lr3 front glass defrost circuit check

Hopefully someone can give some help on how to check the circuit powering the windshield defroster. I have a 2005 LR3 and the passenger side (right) has not worked for several years. Can't remember but I think a some wires were heating up on the right side but most not. I have checked with meter for voltage and continuity. Voltage on both sides reads 14.4 volts and both sides have continuity through the glass. Also checked fuses and they are good. I would like to check the wiring on the ground side (black). Does anyone know how to check the ground side or what needs to be done to check if the right side circuit is working properly. I suspect that the glass is bad due to some chips on the right side but would like to fully check the circuit to make sure. I assume the relay is working due to part of the defroster working. If someone can give some advice It would be greatly appreciated. I'm not experienced at dealing with electrical issue above the easy stuff.

Ground checks are done by using a multi meter on ohm's and then going from pin to a ground "stud", should be zero or close.
