Default LR3 Height Sensors Old vs. New

Hi all,

I have a 2008 LR3 SE 4.4L with 180k miles.

I went to replace the left front height sensor today and the new sensor had a couple of differences compared to the old one. Both are genuine LR but the new only has 3 pins on the connector and the old has 6 pins. Aside from that the new one has 2mm less clearance for the swing arm and when bolted up the swing arm can't rotate freely past the lower bolt which holds it to the bracket. Has anyone run into this?

Part Numbers
Old - RQH500071
New - LR020155

UPDATE: I did get these installed today. When bolted and torqued down the swing arm does just clear the top of the bolt on the left front. Definitely not as much clearance as the old one but they do fit so all is well.

Glad they fit. The pin difference is well documented. As can be seen in the wiring, only three pins are used. The fact you have three means you have the newer sensor versus some very old new stock which would have six.

Yeah, me too, and I appreciate your insights! The old ones just had so much more clearance that I felt like it was strange the new ones lacked that.
