Bought GAP IITooll BT. Luck 8 was great and gave me a bit of a deal. Also the service at GAP Diagnostics is fantastic
GAP Diagnostics gave me some great info many may gain from. The GAP tool will work on most Land and Range Rovers and is VIN tied. However, you can
use the GAP tool on a Rover that is not VIN tied for Diagnostic Capability, but can buy an additional VIN for a another Rover for the Advanced Programming Functions... I believe youcan have up to 10 VIN. GAP rep even offered to assist with report as some codes show for different reasons and be misleading.

GAP rep did not say the tool will sync a new e-diff locker, but indicated after replacement the running a self test with the GAP should make all run smooth with locker

So GAP tool coming, two VINs plus key fobs for both LRs

i picked a brand new, never used remote for around $45 as I recall and I got another that had been used and was programmed to another vehicle . I was able to program both of them to my Range Rover using the Gap Tool. I now have three working remotes . I rarely use my Gap Tool, but when I do, it is spectacular. Phil
