My 2005 LR3's rear driver-side door is stuck in the lock position and will not open from the inside or the outside. Whether I use the fob or the unlock button, nothing happens. If I try to manually unlock it, just feels like nothing catches and it won't unlock. Any ideas on what this may be or how I can fix? I have issues on the other side with the locks where i have to manually lock them but at least people can open the door, this one won't open and would be great to avoid that costly trip to LR. I figure I'll ask for help with this one and maybe try to tackle the passenger side later if I can get this open again.
Thanks,
Darren

1 . Remove the grab handle cover.
Release the 4 clips. CAUTION: Release the 2 lower clips first, using the access holes.
2 . Remove the screw securing the door latch remote release.
Release the screw cover.
3 . Release the rear door trim panel.
Remove the 6 screws.
Release the 13 clips.
4 . Disconnect the door latch remote release cable.
5 . Remove the rear door trim panel.
Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.
Then look around for what is broken / disconnected.
There are some pictures I think it's a front door, but it may give you a general idea of what to look for.

Thanks for the quick responses. I have the door panel off but nothing really there that would be disconnected. I've got the release cable here, tucks into a hole. I'm guessing the issue is the cable is not catching? But how can I tell, only thing left to disassemble seems to be for the window?
Ok, that one link gives me more than I realized. It's dark so I'll break it some more in the morning. Looks like it has pics on how to further disassemble. Thanks!
Ok, so I got the window thing off, it's tough to get in this tight space with the door being stuck shut but here's what I'm looking at. I can see the gold latch on the bottom move up and down with a handle pull, is there anything I can do to simply get the door open at this point? It will be tough to get out but if I remove that one screw, will that latch unit come off and unveil something for me to open up the door. I'm reading about how others replaced the latch and how it's reasonably priced but I'm not sure if that's the issue or not just yet and didn't want to make things worse. Any advice greatly appreciated, you guys got me further than I expected to go already so thanks a bunch.
