Hmmm...where does your vehicle "live?" Outside or in a garage? Is it possible sone mice call it home? That would explain the noises and maybe your strange electrical (brake switch) issue.

Have you done a thorough search on this forum? I seem to recall someone having the same symptoms in terms of it being fine if brake is pressed but otherwise not.

Thank you..
The clicking is louder than a mouse would make..it would be a larger animal.
Yes the strange brake issue..with brake light switch bypassed and dangling there..with car on snow gravel setting in normal height runs good but brake lights on all the time so on the way to dealer tommorow morning.
One thing my wife notices is the brake.. since just before issue started all of a sudden it needs to be depressed farther down for car to stop.??

If the brake pedal switch is dangling....then I think I know your problem!

Clicking sound could come from electric motor from under the driver's seat.If you Google a clicking sound from under seat+lr3 this topic will come up. I had that problem few years back, but after disconnecting the seat module for the night, the sound never came back. Hope this helps..

My Throttle body motor makes noise sometimes after shutting off. It stops if I unplug it. It's under the plastic cover near the front of the engine. Does your noise get louder when you look under the hood?
Another thought, is the ride height settling? Slow leak? Maybe the valves opening to level the truck.
