Default LR3 Steering

Steering problems. I have a lot of play in my steering. Just had it aligned and they said front end looked good but there’s a couple inches of play in the steering. Can’t drive it on the interstate. Have to be super cautious going around curves. New to these forums lol any advice would be great!

If it isn't the tie-rod ends (they said it looked good up front) then it's likely to be the steering column.

^ Ditto. Though they usually stiffen up a lot, not loosen up. The lower steering shaft is a known weak point and not terribly difficult to replace with basic tools.

The one on my 07 is just loose and sloppy. No binding but the 06 would jam up. Lower steering shaft as stated is likely your issue
