I guess my point is the oil light and rattle sound more linked together mechanically.

low oil pressure and prolonged oil changes can create the rattle on the chains. If it starts to get worse, you will need to address it. If it jumps timing the motor is done.

Broken Throttle Body harness... Land Rover quoted me $4k to install new harness. I bought $5 zip tie set and fixed it. Saved myself $3,995. Car works like a dream!

If you think about it you probably saved closer to 3999.92 as you probably have a ton of zip ties for later use. Good job!

Or if you have a bag of 20 zip ties and one each can fix $4k worth of issues, then that $5 bag of ties has the repair power of $80,000.00!

Haha! For sure. I’m guessing Land Rover didn’t wanna save a customer money with the mention of...gasp..zip ties 😂

Nice, I’ve had that one come up more than once. Supposedly the connector can be bought on Amazon, it’s used on other vehicles, problem is pushing out all those pins!

Agree. I bought another wiring harness, but used for $60. Just need to get it fitted. In the meantime my zip tie situation will work.
