Default Transfer case control module

I’m working on it now but I have my doubts this a babied LR3 with only 65,000 miles garaged there’s nothing corroded on this trk but I’m looking at the module now looks brand new

You're holding off on the hard reset??? That's one of the easiest things to do!!

will a hard reset do anything more then clear faults?

No chance of making anything worse.

Put a mat over the battery, use a jumper cable to connect positive and negative cable on vehicle for 10 min.

This is done while cables are disconnected from battery!
This clears faults and drain any capacitors of memory.

I doubt it will do anything, but it won’t cause harm.

OK im going to do a hard reset today. ill see if it resets the fault.

you were right I did the hard reset no change. I guess I should be thankful there is only 1 fault consistently so I’m making an appt. with My dealership their pretty sharp there 225 year and 30 year A mechanics was trying to save some money.I love to fix my own cars whenever possible
