Multiple Error Alerts
Hi, I have an LR3 2007 MODEL. A few weeks ago I noticed that when I start my car it takes an effort for it to accelerate. The engine noise is so high and the tachometer goes as high as 6000rev/min before it picks acceleration, but at this point some warning alert noise and signs come up on the dashboard - Suspension fault, HDC Fault system unavailable, Transmission fault, Brake, DSC/ETC, ABS, Park Break and Engine fault. All these alerts are in amber colour.
I have had my injector serviced, fuel pump changed, transmission module cleaned, break switch changed all to no avail.
Pls has anyone experienced this problem and how did you resolve it. I have also attached a snap shot of my dashboard.

There are 2 scenarios that user bbyer can speak to related to your symptoms. He has had both problems, so probably can help you narrow it down more. One issue is related to a bad Viscous fan. The second issue seems related to a bad alternator. Both problems cause high idle / revving. Do not run out and buy a fan and alternator, there certainly can and are other things that could cause the symptoms, such as a shorted start cable, and so on.
If you can't diagnose this yourself, you might consider a trip to a dealer or someone who has a computer so you can plug it in and get the error codes.
The cascade of lights and errors are sometimes important, if you can pin down which lights and what order it may also help.

Hi, my dealer plugged it into a computer and said no error came up. He shared the problem with hs colleagues and someone suggested it maybe the meecatronics in the gear box which explains why the computer could not read the fault and also the reason why the engine noise revs so high because the car is unable to change gear easily. Has anyone had any issues with there gear box meecatronics.

If you had all those warning lamps on there has to be codes stored!
You have more than on issue here..
First check your battery, Check AND Clean the battery terminals
Make sure the gearshift mechanism moves freely and the D is displayed
in the information center. If the D is not displayed the transmission will not
go into gear, The engine will just rev up you can also wiggle the shifter towards neutral to see If the D disappears.
If your steering wheel is that far off center while you are driving, you will need to
have the vehicle aligned steering wheel centered AND have the steering angle sensor recalibrated.
There is a possibilty the you have a transmission fluid leak and the fuid level is low
this will also cause a slipping problem in the transmission.
A Land Rover dealer would (should) have noticed the basics when you brought it in for diagnosis.
A Multi Point Inspection is performed on Every Vehicle.
