I'd be interested to see what is blocking the extractor hose from getting to the bottom of the pan to get the full 8qts out. If anyone happens to do an oil pan gasket please take pictures of the inside of your pan and if possible where the dipstick comes into the lower crankcase area.

I looked for pictures of the oil pan on EBAY and found some...interesting...geometry. My theory is that the little tub area that I circled in red is where the bottom of the dipstick resides, and doesn't actually reach the bottom of the oil pan like I thought it did. The green line I drew is my theory on where the 6L mark would be, as when you drain the 2L that you can with the extractor, the dipstick is bone dry, but there is still 6L in the car.

So there is absolutely no way you can get an extractor to work, unless you put your car at a 45* forward angle, then the oil will be at an optimal angle where even the extractor will work.

An interesting test would be if someone had the pan off and started to fill it to see where 6qts is at in the pan. I’ll have to try to remember when I change my front diff fluid to see how far back the stick is in relation to front of the pan.

What about cutting a hole in the skid plate and installing a trap door ( similar to a Toyota Tundra)? Then installing a Fumoto Plug in place of the drain plug. I've had nothing but good luck with fumoto plugs.
