Parking Brake Fault Post Rear Brake Job
Planetspacerover, did you ever resolve this issue? I'm stuck with a flashing red park light and an intermittent amber brake light. The fault is the same as yours. On mine I can confirm unjam DOES work and move to latching or mounting DO NOT work and simply cause the EPB module to intermittently throw the temperature sensor code.
From disconnecting the battery, to manually readjusting the rear brake shoes, to playing around with settings using the GAP tool, nothing got rid of the flashing red lights, alarms, and over temperature fault.
Land Rover replaced the EPB module for $1900.

That's not great to hear. I posted my own thread about the EPB fault I'm dealing with; it seems to be very similar to yours. I confirmed, with the cover off and using the "unjam" command in the GAP tool that the motor does work and is not jammed, but the EPB module won't accept commands to move to "latching" or "mounting" either via the GAP tool or with the parking brake switch.
I’m having the same issue on my 2018 Velar. Was there a solution for any of you? New pads and rotors installed and shop replaced rear passenger actuator. But still getting the park brake fault message when starting up and unable to move car.
