When I bought my wife’s 06 HSE with 94k on it the rotors/pads were trashed. I have used Powerstop stuff on D2/P38’s in the past with very good results, so I went ahead and ordered it thru Brake Motive on Ebay. Kit was of coarse cross drilled/slotted with ceramic brake pads. Well nearly 30k later the rotors still look new, and the brake pads are doing great as well. Zero dust compared to OEM and about half the price of other kits for LR3’s.

Only mod I made to the system was to bypass the brake pad indicators.

I put on EBC pads and rotors as the trash ones installed by the dealer as part of the purchase lasted 3 months before I started to get vibration. Got them off Amazon for the same price the dealer charged and installed them in a couple of hours.

I "think" Brembo's would be overkill in the truck.

But, that is me thinking that Brembo's is focus more on high speed braking rather than normal or off road trail braking.
