Ahhhh....yeah you could probably benefit from that block heater in WI. I hardly need it in WA, but like I said....the Yukon. I still plug it in on nights that are gonna dip below 30F (still not needed, I know) but those are few and far between around here. I don't regret swapping the center console covers. I got a good deal online and then I sold my old one (it was in pristine shape) for a pretty good price. The net cost was not much at all...maybe a hundred bucks.

How did you know the SEs you saw had adaptive headlamps? Did you see the lights do the dance? Just curious, because they of course look the same when static. They would have to be a retrofit.

A U joint 8mm socket might help get the 4-8's.

Hello - is there a gasket between the diff and the motor housing? If not, do the mating surfaces require liquid gasket material?

No gasket. Just use quality high temp sealant. Reinzosil is my go-to sealant of choice.
