Reverse light fuse keeps blow
I have a problem where my reverse light fuse (5p) blows the second I switch into reverse. I have tried to diagnose the problem by disconnecting the lights & rear view mirror, and the light still blows immediately. Has anyone else had this problem?
This seems to say short to me, but I have yet to located it. To further diagnose the problem I checked the resistance across pins 2(reverse lights) & 5 (ground) and I get 0 ohms, again short. Is there any other way to to diagnose a short?
Does anyone know the exact routing of the rear light harness? Can anyone thing of where any potential wear locations for this harness is?
Has anyone ever wired a circuit breaker into the fuse, so that you can just reset the breaker while trying to diagnose the problem?
