Sorry for the typo mistake, it's not 60 GBP but 25 GBP for the fast lane service.

The following are embedded in the tools firmware for LR3 / Discovery3 / Range Rover Sport 2005 - 2009

-Suspension
-Body Control
-Instrument Pack
-Navigation
-Bluetooth

The fast lane service is used when in need of reflashing a file not currently embedded in the tool, The fee covers administrative costs for manually selecting the correct update file

More details in the user manual

They are the same.

^ Thank you for the clarification.

Just to add to that, there is some amount of work to do the update with Autologic.

You have to connect to the vehicle, choose to update trans software, download the trans profile to the Autologic, connect the tool to Autologic's site, upload your vehicle's profile, wait for the file to be ready, then download it to the Autologic.

I say this because at 25 GBP it sounds like a reasonable charge based on the amount of time involved in getting the file ready.

It's also interesting to hear that the ZF and Land Rover updates are the same.

Well, I have my Landie scheduled in to a local transmission shop that is going to do a flush and attempt an update for $350. I say attempt as the shop owner said that they are able to do 90- 95 % of the updates for tranny's and he wasn't sure if the LR3 was one. He was well versed in the Landie transmission and will preform a fitness test on it before attempting the flush and update. Dealer wanted the same money just to do an update... will update after service.
