Default Tie Rod Replacement Quality

I'm replacing the left tie rod (driver side in the US) and wondered if anyone has had luck buying them from Autozone/O-Rileys/Napa. Does off-brand vs OEM matter in this case?

I doubt it really matters but Lemforder, TRW and Meyle-HD are “known good”. If these Meyle tends to be cheaper. I think Lemforder is OE.

I am pleased with the Delphi inner and outer tie rods I bought from RockAuto for my 06.

Yeah, Delphi has been a very good option to me also. They are OEM for GM and such, once being owned by them. The air struts on the LR3 are also often Delphi made. Lemforder is my preference tho. TRW is good because of availability and generally well made, for tie rods it is what I have now.
