Doing the valve covers on my 2005 4.4 and while removing the bolts I found one stud bolt missing entirely, and another replaced with a short screw that wasn't threading into anything.
While double checking online to make sure I have the correct amount of stud bolts and regular bolts (not sure what else to call them, they're the screws with the rubber seals on them), I've found that in literally every single picture of the valve covers the longer bolts and shorter bolts are in different arrangement. Some don't even have the longer bolts!
Does anyone know the correct amount of longer and shorter bolts on each side needed to do this right? Does it even matter?
