Default Vehicle Immobilizer Control Module

Well...that takes the cake.

Finally got my faults taken care of thanks to corroded wiring (brake switch not getting power, etc.) was bundling everything back up on the passenger side (drivers side too) and then this happens.

Symptoms:

Key goes in, turns but all I get is clicking from the passenger side. No engine turnover...nothing.
When turning the key in the ignition,I get what i am assuming is the doors lock/unlock (but not sure they actually do) but something "clicks" like that.

Take out the gap tool...

Get a U0167-00 - Lost Communication with the vehicle immobilizer control.

Key unlocks vehicle just fine...

What could I have disturbed in the bundle of wires?
Is there a fuse that may have blown? If so which one?

Something isn't happy - either no power to the unit or a ground issue.

THoughts? Trouble shooting?

Update…

key won’t come out of the ignition. Wtf? Have to disconnect the battery to get the key to turn all the way back to release and pull out of ignition.

All fixed. Just an FYI - check all your grey and green connectors under the dash (footwell). Appears to be connected...but they may be loose.
