@Rover Rene re-gearing accounts for the greater tire diameter and un-sprung weight. Your faults sound like an EAS cross-articulation fault. Start by re-calibrating the suspension.
Thank you so much for your reply. I have the coil conversion kit installed. Is calibration only possible for the factory air suspension? Or is there a way to calibrate even when I have replaced the air suspension with coil springs?

Ahhhh....a coiler. Then no, a re-cal is not your solution. It could be a wheel angle sensor, or it could just be part of how the coil conversion was installed and whether or not the "black box" was installed that magically tricks the computers into not setting faults. To be honest I know little about the coil conversion. I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

I had an issues with the dsc going active and the first time it was a lower steering shaft that fixed the issue. There was a lot of slop.

2nd one I'm 90% sure is the trashed wheel bearing I replaced.

It finally happened..... A 13 year old OEM front air spring has sprung a leak. Raised it into High Profile to wash it & HSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSS.... is all I heard from the RF air strut. Money is kinda tight right now so I went the cheap route with some aftermarket complete units for 130.00 a piece. Trust me I wanted nothing but Arnott replacements, but I've gotta do what I've got to do.

They come with a 2 year warranty and I'm sure my original front shocks are completely trashed (pot holes have been pretty brutal lately). I'm just going to do the front for now as they're exposed to the most heat vs the rear. I've got 2 good air valves F/R, and my compressor is good right now so it should be good to go by next Saturday.

I can't complain at all! My 97 P38 went thru like 2 sets of air bladders in 4 years until I finally got the updated ones from Arnott. The LR3/RR/RRS EAS system is very robust vs the earlier RRC/P38 days. I'm glad I caught it before it fried my pump. The Mrs only has to work a few days next week so I think I'll be fine until Friday. When I lowered it back into normal height the hissing stopped.

Is it possible to put the protective boots form the rear onto the fronts? Or do they make them specific for the front. I saw one LR3 with front boots, but no others. When I install new ones, I would very much like to get some boots on them if possible.

edit: was always look up the wrong part. Looked again now, front is: RBG500010 with rear being RPM500200. So that answers that!

I just help a friend install front and rear suspension, shocks with air bags. There are no OEM front protective boots as they do not receive the debris and road offal as the rears do. I suppose you could fit some protective boots on them but in reality it is not necessary for the operation of the suspension. Just removing and reinstalling them will be a significant operation. Unless you are replacing them perhaps, otherwise spend your time doing other more necessary maintenance.
Just an opinion, you may wish to proceed with attempt.

There are OEM boots, I found them and thats why I listed the part number. There was discussion in another forum about them. Any protection is good, especially when dealing with mud, etc. I will put a pair on when I replace my struts. Although I dont see why they would be hard to install in teh first place. Pull the bottom stud bolt and compress the strut enough to slip them on. Should be no problem. Thats why I like EAS, not having to deal with spring compressors.

Default I looked into them...

....and I think the cost was ridiculous for the benefit.

Pretty sure my LR3 days are over folks. Today might have been the last straw (especially as far as the wife is concerned). Today I was working on my 97 XD in the driveway. The LR3 was parked behind me in the driveway. The wife & kids were at church then lunch. I was removing tons of rusty parts from the XD when I heard a pop that sounded just like a pre made biscuit roll makes when you open them. It was rather dull sounding so it didn't come from my XD. I rolled out and then heard a crackling/popping sound. It got louder towards the LR3... To my total HORROR the frigging sunroof glass completely just EXPLODED..... Nothing fell on it, I know for a fact it didn't have any rock chips on it as I hand washed it myself on Saturday. The frigging glass just exploded!!!! When my wife got home she was not at all happy, and she said well if the sunroof glass can just explode what about the rear roof glass???? I didn't have an answer to that. She said I don't care what you do, but I think that along with the front air struts is a sign it needs to go. She then turned around and went inside.....

Of coarse the LKQ just set the 05 LR3 they had to the crusher.... I'm trying my best to find a replacement as fast as possible. We were planning on a lake trip this weekend in the LR3 and it's looking like that isn't going to be happening. I might be spending my time at a car lot buying a frigging Honda Accord Sedan.....

I vacuumed all the glass up, and the micro glitter pieces from the interior. Just looking online for a replacement that I can have by Thursday or Friday at the latest.

Wow, that's messed up. Reading now online, this is apparently not uncommon with Rovers.
Land Rover Sunroof Shatters, Land Rover Discovery Revies and Report, Land Rover Discovery Recall

Edit: The more I read, the more it seems common with any modern sunroof. Think I will be keeping my shade extended at all times now.
